Yesterday I participated in the annual Hourly Comics Day. It was challenging and a lot of fun. I found it really hard to try to pair down my thoughts and what I wanted to do. I have a problem with ideas blowing up really huge and getting away from me. It was also super hard to keep up doing these while having a 9-5 job. I took notes and penciled a bulk of them over my lunch break and had to wait to ink until I got home. It was still a lot of fun and I plan on doing it again next year. I still haven’t done a 24 hour comic. Doing this really put that exercise into perspective for me. I’ll do one someday soon. We’ll see… Hope you enjoy.
FAT BATMAN (new comic)
New comic! I know this site’s been hurtin’ for an update… Most of my doodles and things I’ve just been posting directly to twitter. I need to collect them and throw them on here. Anyhow. This is a silly little comic I did as a practice run for a comic I’m working on right now called, “The Contrarian.” Fat Batman was a doodle in my sketchbook I had a lot of fun drawing. I hope you enjoy! (Click the image above to check it out.)
Thanks everyone who’s bought a copy so far!
I love you all and appreciate the support greatly. I’m working on my next comic book right now! More info. soon!
