Pea Green Coffee Cup Vol. 1 Release Party
Hi Everybody! Just to kick this post off I want to let you know that Pea Green Coffee Cup Volume 1 is now officially available online now in the store as well as some other things now that I’ve redone it.

I am so thankful for everyone that pitched in to make the kickstarter happen. It was a really heart-warming experience that kept me smiling ear to ear from November to now. To top things off, my brother, Justin threw me a Pea Green book release party at Chop Suey which is a used book store in Richmond, VA. We had such a great time. I had lots of friends come out to say hello and even people I hadn’t met before that read the comic online. It great and my wife snagged quite a few pictures from the event.
Mrs. Eliza De Wolf

This is a drawing I did to submit to an art-show about feminism. It’s a scene from history in 1866, when Eliza De Wolf was arrested in San Fransisco for wearing pants.
Yesterday I participated in the annual Hourly Comics Day. It was challenging and a lot of fun. I found it really hard to try to pair down my thoughts and what I wanted to do. I have a problem with ideas blowing up really huge and getting away from me. It was also super hard to keep up doing these while having a 9-5 job. I took notes and penciled a bulk of them over my lunch break and had to wait to ink until I got home. It was still a lot of fun and I plan on doing it again next year. I still haven’t done a 24 hour comic. Doing this really put that exercise into perspective for me. I’ll do one someday soon. We’ll see… Hope you enjoy.
Carrie Brownstein…
I’ve been a huge fan of Carrie Brownstein since I was in high school. Sleater Kinney was my favorite band and I worshiped each of the members. All of them have gone on to do other projects or bands. I’m still an avid follower and fan of each of them. Here’s a little drawing of Carrie… Done in nib/no.3 brush
